Shelf Life: 10 Months (store in a cool, dry area).
Unfortunately the icing was all separated and I wasn't able to get it to mix again. I had to make my own. I also felt there could have been more candy considering most children are going to be nibbling a little as they build (as they should). The house was easy to build and my kids really enjoyed it, but I did not feel it was worth the price.

The measurements are off for the roof so they hang over the front and back frames making the icing incapable of adhering to the thermoform.

Disappointed kids
We hoped to have a nice family night putting together this kit but were unfortunately met with frustrations with the icing being too runny and difficult to work with, not having enough white icing, and then couldn’t get the roof to stick to the thermoform - the main selling feature of the kit. We also had no base in the kit though the box advertising makes it seem like there is one.
